PUSHOE 85488

 

PUSHOE 85488 is a composition of various additives for the purpose of chain extension, catalysis and formation of pores and polyether base polyol.

PUSHOE 85488 has been developed for use with the MDI-based prepolymer DUSEC 8844 for the production,using pouring machinery of high micro-celluar polyurethane high quality single density components for various engineeringapplications

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

Appropriate literature has been assembled which provides information concerningthe health and safety precautions that must be observed when handling PUSHOE 85488. Before working with this product, you must read and become familiar with  the available information on its hazards, proper use, and handling. This cannot be over emphasized.

Information is available in several forms, e.g., material safety data sheets and p-roduct labels. Flash point is above 200 degree centigrade (closed cup method), flammable but non-explosive. In case of fire, put out with foams, dry powder, steam or water.

When handling PUSHOE 85488, precautions should be taken to avoid exposure to the eye or prolong contact with the skin. If eye contact occurs, flush with plenty ofwater. If skin contact occurs, wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water.

STORAGE

Store in new steel drums, 200KGS/drums.

PUSHOE components are designedto offer very good storage stability but this is dependent on conditions, particularly temperature. Containers should be kept tightly sealed and away from direct sunlight.

Under these conditions, the shelf life will be12 months at 25ºC.Once the polyol blend has been prepared the shelf life will be significantly reduced.

Storage at constant temperature isdesirable. A constant 25ºC is preferable to a daily cycle of 18°C to 30°C to 18°C.

 

DUSEC 8844

INTRODUCTION AND APPLICATIONS

Dusec 8844 is a urethane-modified diphenyl methane diisocyanate(MDI).

Dusec 8844 has been developed for use in the production of high quality,low density microcellular polyurethane shoe soles.
